Special Recognition Awards
The Most Effective Agency of the Year Award recognises the agencies whose work accumulated the strongest results across the season.
MENA Effie Awards launched “The Most Effective Agency of the Year Award” in 2013. It has been initiated to recognize all the hard work done by the agencies for the MENA region. Kindly note the Most Effective Agency points & winnings do not count towards Effie Index Rankings.
The Effective Agency of the Year Award is awarded on an accumulated points system.
The agency network with the highest overall score as a network wins “The Most Effective Agency Network of the Year Award”, and the agency with the highest overall score as an office wins “The Most Effective Advertising Agency Office of the Year” and “The Most Effective Media Agency Office of the Year” for the MENA region.

How the points are compiled
Points are given according to the level of award won only. Agencies that win on the night get points depending on whether they are lead agency or contributing agency.

Important: MENA Effie & Nordstella are always working towards ensuring the award’s credibility and transparency.
It has come to our attention that in order for one office to gain more points, entries have been submitted under an office that did not handle the work. For example, a campaign run by a KSA office was submitted by the Dubai office even though the Dubai office was not leading the campaign.
To avoid any questions or doubt, campaigns need to be submitted from the office located in the country where the client operates. Where two offices or different agencies have worked on a campaign, the office leading the campaign needs to submit the case study.
During screening, if we come across any suspicion MENA Effie has the right to question the entry and take measures that may include disqualification.
